Welcome, lovelies!
Here at Simply I Do–The Blog, we’re taking our first steps as we prepare for our launch. And what a lovely road we’ve been on so far!
From learning how to structure content, what Hootsuite is, to learning how to edit and create a web page, we feel like we need to take a moment to reflect, thank, and get this ball rolling for all of you!
Influences – We spent countless hours scouring the web for inspiration, to find what we like and what we didn’t, and to see how audiences responded to different content. We definitely enjoyed the beauty of Easton Events (https://eastonevents.com/), though they had more pictures than content. We loved the sass and the strength of The Feminist Bride (@feministbride), who was a presence on Twitter and her blog, which has some pretty bitchin’ ideas on it. And we could appreciate the dedication that Anja, a blogger at The Knot (theknot.com), who led her team to an astonishing number of followers on Instagram.
All in all, we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been cranking out over here at headquarters. Stay tuned for a new post alllll about how to structure your timeline for your perfect wedding day–be aware, though, we can be quite sassy over here! Coming at you after our timeline thoughts, we’ve got a snarky way to figure out how to determine if one of your ladies, or boys, deserve to be in your Bride Tribe! Be on the lookout, loves!
